"An Occupation" Installation Performance by Amrita Hepi
"An Occupation" is an outdoor installation performance - part sculpture and part performance using a 20 foot wide inflatable structure and an internal light source. This moving text and performance choreographed by Amrita Hepi (Bundjulung/Ngapuhi) questions modes of occupation and structural systems - a desire to override dominant power structures while still being held deeply within them. This performance is presented in collaboration with the Embassy of Australia.
