Join Kennedy Center Citizen Artist Fellow Shaw Pong Liu and Clarissa Turner, director of the homicide survivors' network, Legacy Lives On, in an interactive workshop on music and listening for healing. Liu and Turner collaborate on Code Listen, a listening-based project that uses music to build dialogue and healing on urgent issues of racism, violence, and police-community relations with police, teens, homicide survivors, musicians, and community members. Presented in collaboration with the Washington National Opera’s March 2020 production of “Blue.”
