D.C. native Dave Chappelle is an internationally recognized stand-up comedian and actor whose sharp, irreverent social commentary explores race, popular culture, sex, drugs, politics, and fame. The multi-Grammy, multi-Emmy winner – known for his iconic comedy sketch series “Chappelle's Show” – has performed more than 1,600 concerts worldwide in the past four years, selling out shows within minutes.

Celebrate with Chappelle as he throws the ultimate block party in this uncensored, hilarious hit documentary directed by Michel Gondry (“Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind,” “Science of Sleep”). "Dave Chappelle's Block Party" features a mix of Chappelle's sketch comedy and musical interludes from artists like Yasiin Bey, Lauryn Hill, and Erykah Badu. Be a part of what Dave Chappelle calls "the best single day of my career!"

On October 27, 2019, an outstanding lineup of entertainers will gather in the Kennedy Center Concert Hall to salute Dave Chappelle as he receives the 22nd annual Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. The program will be broadcast on PBS stations on January 6, 2020.
