The Kennedy Center’s Youth Council is pleased to present the Teen Takeover workshops.  These sessions, curated by and/or led by current Youth Council members and alum, are interactive and engaging for teens and adults! Multi-generational audiences are welcome! (Most enjoyed by guests 13 years and up)

Join Camilo Montoya, acclaimed youth poet and a content producer of Bethesda Chevy Chase TV, as he guides you through designing and editing effective digital social media content. In the workshop, Camilo will teach you how to get the most out of Instagram whether it is for your personal page or your business. He’ll review the importance of original content, frequency in posting, and how to utilize the algorithm so that your page show up on other people’s browsers without having to pay for it, and providing guidance on how to use paid promotions directly from Instagram
