Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Celebrate National Dance Day at the Kennedy Center outdoors with our annual mainstage celebration featuring performances and interactive activities from a variety of artists and stars! Debbie Allen hosts as the emcee for the show. Students from the Debbie Allen Dance Academy will perform and teach a short phrase from their piece. New York City Ballet star Tiler Peck will perform a Pointe to Pop piece choreographed by Christopher Wheeldon and will teach the crowd some of the moves. So You Think You Can Dance all-star Dominic “D-trix” Sandoval teaches this year's Official National Dance Day routine sent to Washington by American Dance Movement (formerly the Dizzy Feet Foundation) specifically for this special day. See a performance and learn some movement with Jerron Herman, a principal dancer at Heidi Latsky Dance with cerebral palsy who is now making his own interdisciplinary work. Hear from DC Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton and see a few other special guests still TBD!

National Dance Day is presented as part of the Irene Pollin Audience Development and Community Engagement Initiatives.
