The REACH Opening Festival at the Kennedy Center

Your favorite characters are back! Enjoy a 40th year-anniversary screening of “The Muppet Movie” on the Video Wall. After Kermit the Frog decides to pursue a movie career, he starts his cross-country trip from Florida to California. Along the way, he meets and befriends Fozzie Bear, Miss Piggy, Gonzo and rock musicians Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem.

In the Sing-Along with The Muppet Movie, IBEX Puppetry leads an audience of cheering, singing fans to renew their Rainbow Connection with our fleecy friends who started it all! Hosted by Heather Henson and Davey ‘Rocker’ Schweizer, Sing-Along with The Muppet Movie is full of interactive surprises like bubbles, streamers, kites, confetti pops, and characters coming right out of the screen into the audience. Children and adults alike are urged to yell out famous lines, blow bubbles, dance, and of course, sing along with the movie!
