The American Music Therapy Association (AMTA) curates a workshop led by Robin Rio, MA, MT-BC on seeking purpose and well-being in music. Participants will explore the health benefits of group singing and learn about music as a tool to develop relationships with people who, on first meeting, may not think they have much in common.

AMTA represents over 8,000 music therapists, corporate members, and related associations worldwide. The mission of the organization is to advance public knowledge of music therapy benefits and increase access to quality music therapy services.

In cooperation with the American Music Therapy Association. Sound Health is a partnership between the Kennedy Center and National Institutes of Health, in association with the National Endowment for the Arts.
