The American Music Therapy Association (AMTA) curates a workshop led by Elizabeth Stegemöller, PhD, MT-BC on music therapy designed for Parkinson's patients. Through interactive exercises, participants will explore how music can improve movement, memory, and motor skills in Parkinson's patients.

AMTA represents over 8,000 music therapists, corporate members, and related associations worldwide. The mission of the organization is to advance public knowledge of music therapy benefits and increase access to quality music therapy services.

In cooperation with the American Music Therapy Association. Sound Health is a partnership between the Kennedy Center and National Institutes of Health, in association with the National Endowment for the Arts.
