Join pianist Kennedy Center Artistic Director for Jazz Jason Moran for a concert with his acclaimed group The Bandwagon and special guest singer/songwriter Kelela.

The Los Angeles-via-D.C. singer Kelela Mizanekristos makes otherworldly R&B that integrates elements of UK club music. Her 2013 debut mixtape, “Cut 4 Me,” established her brand of dark, sensual dance hooks and shimmering, airy vocals. Her 2015 EP, “Hallucinogen,” found her paired with new collaborators (Arca), as well as old ones (Kingdom, Nguzunguzu). Recently, Kelela released her first full albums, “Take Me Apart,” and “Take Me a_Part, the Remixes,” full of her sexiest, most thoughtful, and most texturally intricate tracks yet. @kelelam
